At Home Wellness

With life as we know it coming to a pause, we find ourselves inside practicing social distancing. The doors to our creative spaces, gyms, cafe’s, and more have been closed. We wonder, “when will the world feel normal again?” While we wait for the doors to open, I’ve created a list of how you can move your body, feel creative, and relax your mind all from inside. Most of these companies are offering great discounts given the severity of the situation we are all in. I hope that you find some of these helpful!

Body

  • Rumble!! Rumble boxing is offering classes on their instagram live for you to follow along!
  • BBG – Kayla Itsnes has an amazing at home workout guide. Just download the SWEAT app! It’s $20 for the month and totally guided! Plus it comes with great food ideas!
  • DanceBody – SOO much fun!! They have an online class for half off right now! Use code – DBQUARANTINE
  • Pure Barre – Offering classes through their instagram!
  • P.Volve – 30 day free trial with code – ONEPVOLVE
  • Rev’d Cycling – My first ever spin studio. My go to when I’m back home (p.s. Boston friends they just opened in Copley). If you are in the Massachusetts area they are letting you rent a bike and stream their online classes! Totally insane, brilliant and awesome. The community here is like a close knit, electric, badass family. They’re offering online classes on and off the bike! You can use these classes with any bike you may already have at home! 🙂
  • Corepower Yoga – Free classes for a week!
  • 305 Fitness – They have created videos online to keep you moving!
  • Barre 3 – Offering a free 15 day trial of their at home workout videos.
  • Barry’s Bootcamp – This class focuses on a mix of strength training and cardio! They are offering live classes
  • Peloton – I’m slightly embarrassed that our gym having a peloton bike was such a huge sell for apartment hunting haha. I am HOOKED. Being able to have an instructor right there pushing you feels amazing. Their workout library is insane. Flex, tone, stretch, strengthen and meditate! They’ve extended to a 90 day free trial!
  • Nike Training App – Access to a bunch of different workout videos.
  • Planet Fitness – Offering workouts on facebook at 7PM
  • BeachBody – Over 1,000 workouts
  • Melissa Wood Health – Week free trial

Mind/Creativity

  • Headspace – I’ll always rave about this app. Free for educators and healthcare professionals! They are also offering free resources for people transitioning to the WFH schedule. They offer a 7 day trial!
  • Duolingo – Try out a new language! I may try to see how my Spanish is and give a crack at Italian again.
  • Brit & Co – Free classes for the next two weeks!!! They offer everything from cake decorating classes to investment 101 classes. Use code SELFCARE
  • Virtual Museum Tours – Museums are offering free online tours! Some include: (National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico City, MASP, São Paulo, Uffizi Gallery, Florence, The J.   • NYPL – If you have a NYC library card you can now get access to over 300,000 books online!
  • BPL – You can also check out the Boston public library!!
  • Coursera – Access 3,800 courses and 400 Specializations
  • Hear Me App – An app that lets you talk it out with some empathetic listeners!
